In following the learning guidelines to type two published manuscripts, (to be used as learning tools), I am beginning to ask myself a few questions: Who determines page breaks in a manuscript’s published book? Is it the author, the editor, or the illustrator? How does an illustrator capture a particular emotion that the writer is trying to convey and translate it onto a page? What if the illustrator’s interpretation of the manuscript does not match the writer’s imagined creation? I am sure that those questions will be answered in my text book, but I wanted to record them now.
