So… I spent several hours today doing a bit of research on a “day in the life” of a specific caterpillar. It is the Hesperiidae caterpillar. Its butterfly family is the sweet, little “Skipper… a family with hundreds of species in Costa Rica alone”, says Christina Baer, Ph.D graduate student, working in Costa Rica. Her research opens my mind to a whole world of whimsical, creative possibilities with this particular caterpillar… moving far beyond shoes… 🙂 !!
